Terms of service

These terms cover how we quote, plan and build garden projects. Your written quote and specification sit alongside them and take precedence where they differ.

Quotes and site visits

Site visits and written quotes are free. Quotes are fixed price, based on the specification agreed at the visit, and valid for 30 days.

Variations

Changes to materials, layout or scope once work has started are priced in writing and confirmed by you before we carry them out. Unforeseen ground conditions are raised with you as soon as we find them.

Payment

Projects are paid in stages set out in your quote, typically a materials deposit followed by staged payments against progress, with the balance due on completion.

Access and site conditions

We need agreed access during working hours, along with water and power where the specification calls for it. Where access is shared with neighbours, permission is your responsibility unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Guarantees

Our workmanship is guaranteed for the period stated in your quote. Natural materials such as stone, timber and planting vary in colour and settle over time, which is not a defect. Planting and lawns depend on aftercare being followed.

Cancellation

You may cancel within 14 days of accepting a quote. Where materials have already been ordered or work has begun at your request, we may charge for what has been committed.
